Sherman VC Firefly - My First Project part III

Part III

Hi mates!

I present another part of the Sherman VC Firefly project.

See previous parts:

Part I - beginnings and failure

Part II - chipping hairspray way

And now detaling.

The details are the next step. Tank crews used every scrap of space for additional equipment and supplies. In the photos, Shermans are loaded with canisters, backpacks, ammunition crates and anything the crew found useful.

On my Sherman there are additional ammunition boxes, spare wheels, backpacks, blankets, and a box with a spare machine gun - which I made from scraps of plastic.

All add come from the Tamiya set. Unfortunately, I do not remember what particular set it was. I painted the details with an airbrush. Chipping with sponge technique - nice and easy.

Next part of the Sherman VC Firefly project is on the way so stay tuned!
